Artificial Lawns for Schools and Nurseries
South Coast & South Coast Artificial Lawns specialise in supplying and installing synthetic grass and safety flooring for kids play areas. We have installed grass at many nurseries and schools over the past 4 years.
Artificial grass is being used by an increasing number of educational establishments and for a range of uses: outdoor general play areas, sports fields, pitches and some indoor facilities. Many schools have installed a multi-use games area with an artificial grass surface. The most popular surfaces are soft, cushioned grasses that do not require a rubber infill. We have installed large sports pitches as well as small leisure and play areas for ‘back garden’ home nurseries.
Our project teams will work alongside schools/nurseries to achieve a sports lawn, distance landscaping or safe decking area that fits within the school’s budget. We will work with fund raising committees, such as the PTA to install surfaces against a small deposit and await further funding being raised.
General play areas, particularly for younger children, are also important and an artificial grass play surface offers a clean and usable area all year round for children to play on which is far superior to chippings, tarmac and concrete. Using cushioned Shock Pads underneath, our synthetic grass can be used under climbing apparatus where critical fall heights of up to 3m need to be considered. We offer a range of different synthetic grasses for use in playgrounds as decorative, durable, soft fall or landscape use. We offer products that can withstand the punishment of high wear areas.
Natural grass can create dust and mud which can migrate into classrooms. Our carefully selected grasses solve this problem. Large areas can be covered quickly at a reasonable price, offering year round playgrounds that are safe, durable, and look good.
